Mechanical Engineering

• Established in 2009, The Department of Mechanical engineering offer Undergraduate course in Mechanical Engineering.
• The Department has built up a comprehensive research infrastructure with top-notch facilities for carrying cutting-edge teaching and research.
• Mechanical Engineering is the most sought branch in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The Department has an opportunity to play a major role in providing the Engineers with good academic background. Civil Engineering

The Department was established in 2011. The present intake of this dept. is 60. Faculties and lab staff of this department are dedicated to the innovation and development of new projects which are worthwhile for the society. Conducting workshops on different emerging topics, industrial tour and training in technical topics is the part of our curriculum. Department also focuses on faculty development programs for improving the teaching and learning process.

Scope of Civil Engineering:

• Civil is a core branch of engineering, which deals with designing and construction. After completion of B.Tech. in civil engineering students have lots of opportunities in Government and Private sector. Railway, Airport Authority of India, Military Engineering Services, Central Public Works Department, CWC, ONGC, NTPC, NHPC are main Engineering Department of Central Government. While Public Works, Public Health Engineering, Water Resources, Rural Engineering Services, Local self Government of city and town, Pollution Control Board and Housing Board are main departments of State Government
• In Private sector different infrastructure companies dealing with Road Railways Bridge, Water Resource project, and real estate companies dealing with Housing have lots of employment opportunities to provide good job to civil engineers.

Mining Engineering

Mining is the activity, occupation and industry concerned with the extraction of minerals. Mining engineering is the art and science applied to the process of mining and the operation of mines. India has a rich mineral and ore deposit so Indian mining engineers have ample opportunities to work in India as well as abroad. The Department of Mining Engineering was started in the year 2014 with an intake of 60 students. The department has wide varieties of Laboratories for research work. Faculty members of the department ensure conceptual knowledge delivery to the students.

Electronics and Communication

The department was established during the inception of the institute in 2006 as the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). Since its commencement, the primary objective of the department has been to impart quality education, training and research at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in various areas of Electronics and Communication Engineering with broad emphasis on design aspects of electronic systems.
In 2012, the department has started M.Tech. programme with specializations in Digital Communication.
The major areas of faculty expertise of the department include Communication Systems, Computer Networks, Control Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Instrumentation, Microwaves and VLSI Systems.

Allied Sciences

The Department of Allied Sciences has been an integral part of the Institute since its inception. It is striving to provide cutting edge knowledge and practical experience in all the sectors of engineering & technology. Although the concerns of Humanities and Basic Sciences (HBS) can be said to be somewhat different from the concerns of the core disciplines of the Institute, the Department strives to initiate meaningful HBS lectures pertaining to the needs of the engineering disciplines. Departments have well equipped laboratories, highly qualified teaching staff with skilled supporting staff.
Department of Physics
Department of Physics provides both basic and engineering-oriented physics theory and practical course for the B.Tech. 1st year students. It aims to identify, formulate, create, analyze, design, develop and optimize various problems related to various fields of physics through basic knowledge.
Department of Mathematics
The objective of the department is to excel in providing high quality Mathematical skills to undergraduate, post graduate students. It provides students (UG/PG) a wide spectrum of valuable courses with rigorous training/tutorials that enables them to pursue their future. It helps Engineers to develop the mathematical thoughts and applying it to solve complex engineering problems, designing mathematical models to meet the requirements.
Department of Chemistry
The department of chemistry provides both basic and engineering-oriented chemistry theory and practical courses for the B.Tech. students of the institute. The mission of the Department of Chemistry is to impart knowledge and updated information in the field of basic and applied chemistry related to science and technology.
Department of Humanities
The English language is now a bridge language of international business, technology & research. Keeping in view the importance of English in communication, the department conduct special spoken English and personality development classes for students. A well equipped Language laboratory focuses on the production and practice of sounds of language and familiarizes the students with the use of English in everyday situations and contexts with the help of software.
